Privacy Policy

We collect information in three ways:

1. Information you provide. When you sign up, book a consultation, upload a document, or contact us, you give us information like your name, email address, phone number, project details, and the contents of documents you upload.
2. Information automatically collected. When you use YourCM, we collect technical information including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and improve the service.
3. Information from third parties. We may receive information from services you connect (such as Calendly bookings, Google Calendar, payment processors).

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve YourCM's services
• Process AI scope reviews, project plans, and other outputs you request
• Send you account-related and transactional emails
• Respond to your inquiries and support requests
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

Documents you upload (contractor scopes, project plans, photos, contracts) are used solely to:

• Generate the AI output you requested (scope review, project plan, etc.)
• Make your output available to you in your account or via email
• Improve our service through aggregated, anonymized analysis (we do not use your specific project content to train AI models)

Documents are stored encrypted at rest. Documents associated with anonymous (non-account) submissions are auto-deleted after 30 days. Documents in saved accounts are retained until you delete them or close your account.

We never share your project documents with other customers, contractors, vendors, or third parties without your explicit consent.

We share your information only:

• With service providers who help us operate YourCM (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, AI providers like Anthropic). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
• When required by law (subpoena, court order, government request)
• To protect rights, property, or safety of YourCM, our customers, or others
• In connection with a business transaction (merger, acquisition) — you will be notified

We do not sell your data, and we do not share data with advertisers or marketing networks.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information (“right to be forgotten”)
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for processing

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted data storage, secure authentication, and limited employee access. No internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account closure, we retain limited data as required by law (tax records, etc.) or for legitimate business purposes (fraud prevention) for up to seven years, then delete it.

YourCM is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe we have, contact matt@yourcm.ai and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and updated “Last updated” dates. Continued use of YourCM after changes constitutes acceptance.
